Hospice Billing and Authorization Specialist

Revenue Management Corporation is seeking a part-time Hospice Billing and Authorization Specialist to manage claims, eligibility verification, payer authorizations, and accounts receivable for an Ohio hospice provider. This remote position requires at least two years of direct billing experience with a hospice provider in Ohio, along with hands-on proficiency in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and Waystar. Candidates must have experience with Medicare, Ohio Medicaid, managed-care and commercial hospice billing, including nursing-facility room-and-board claims, initial authorizations, and reauthorizations. Responsibilities include claim submission, rejection and denial resolution, payment posting, Medicare hospice notices, Ohio Medicaid hospice enrollment, and coordinating required documentation with clinical staff. The position offers $25–$30 per hour for approximately 15–20 hours per week, with hours reviewed as workload changes. We are looking for someone who can work independently, meet deadlines, communicate clearly, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
