Hydro Commercial Risk Manager (EPC Projects) / Responsable des risques commerciaux Hydro (Projets EPC)

For our client, we are seeking a Hydro Commercial Risk Manager (EPC Projects) / Responsable des risques commerciaux Hydro (Projets EPC) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will focus on managing commercial and project risk across hydroelectric EPC opportunities, with close collaboration between commercial leaders and functional experts. You will help ensure tender risk profiles are well understood, balanced against reward, and aligned with internal governance requirements. The position also plays an important part in strengthening risk controls by applying lessons learned from ongoing project execution back into the bid stage. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

Collaborate with commercial leaders and functional experts to analyze and mitigate risk profiles of tenders Validate the risk and reward balance for each tender Manage the hydropower risk process ensuring compliance with internal policies Lead risk review gates of the ITO process Leverage feedback from ongoing projects to enhance risk control at the tender stage

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience Experience managing complex EPC projects and/or risk management Strong critical-thinking skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities in a global environment
