RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interview clients and gather the necessary information to prepare accurate individual and business tax returns.
• Prepare and review federal and applicable state income tax returns.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
• Identify opportunities to grow your clientele and develop your tax preparation business.
• Maintain compliance with IRS regulations and applicable state requirements.
• Participate in available training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain organized client records and protect confidential taxpayer information.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• At least one year of tax preparation experience preferred.
• An active PTIN or willingness and eligibility to obtain one.
• Appropriate state licensing or registration where required.
• Knowledge of individual income tax preparation.
• Bank product experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, professional, dependable, and business-minded.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Must be committed to maintaining professional and regulatory compliance.
