Indie Game Developer
We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with 15 successful indie game developers for part-time, fully remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects start at $70-120 USD per hour, with top-performing experts on our platform earning $150+ USD / hour. This role includes stress-testing leading AI models on real game development problems across design, code, art, and production, creating and verifying complex questions and explanations in your area of expertise, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a developer who has shipped a game end to end. About Aligned At Aligned, we partner with the world's leading AI labs to push the frontier of AI knowledge in fields like STEM, medicine, finance, and the humanities. Our platform matches subject-matter experts (like you) with paid consulting work on frontier projects at these labs. Who We're Looking For You have shipped a commercially released game solo or on a small team. You have made every decision on a game yourself, from the core loop to the shader to the store page. Ideal backgrounds include Solo developers and core members of small teams who have shipped commercially released games, anywhere in the world Developers whose games received critical recognition, festival awards, or a significant player base Developers who have supported a game post-launch, including updates and community response Developers with deep hands-on work in more than one discipline Developers who write devlogs or postmortems, give talks, or teach
Minimum Qualifications
Fluent English reading and writing skills At least one commercially released game shipped as a solo developer or core member of a small team Demonstrable success: critical reception, commercial performance, a significant player base, or peer and festival recognition Currently working in games
