Insurance Restoration Estimator

Upper Restoration is a Property Restoration company serving Long Island, 5 boroughs of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. We specialize in the Water / Flood Damage, Fire Damage and Mold Remediation for Commercial and Residential Properties. The ideal candidate should have experience in the construction field. Job Responsibilities Inspecting and investigating complex residential & commercial large losses. Providing Property owner's with detailed damage estimates and personal property inventories. Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing Xactimate, XACTanalysis, DocuSketch, MICA and other proprietary software. Negotiating and settling claims in a timely manner. Work Experience & Skills: Ability to work in a multi-faceted environment with a strong sense of responsibility. Be able to work in a fast paced office environment. Must be able to work independently. Highly self-motivated. Ability to Multitask and prioritize. Strong organizational skills. Detail-oriented. REQUIRED: Must have experience with a major insurance carrier or restoration company. Minimum 5 years experience as an estimator/project manager/claims adjuster. Proficient utilizing the Xactimate software. Other: Bilingual is a plus.
