About the Opportunity: The INTAKE ADVOCATE serves as the initial contact for VIP referral-source clients, playing a crucial role in establishing a positive first impression and guiding clients through the firm's process. This position supports the intake team by applying legal judgment, ensuring client engagements are valid, and facilitating smooth transitions of new cases. The role impacts client experience significantly by providing empathetic, clear communication during stressful times. Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for VIP referral-source clients, promptly answering their calls. Conduct brief, friendly intake calls to introduce the firm, explain processes, and address client questions. Verify client identity before firm countersignature to maintain engagement integrity. Support the intake team by providing attorney judgment on intake-related inquiries. Transfer new matters accurately to intake, case management, and assigned attorneys. Bring empathy and professionalism to all client interactions. Requirements: Juris Doctor degree from any accredited U.S. law school. Ability to work in-person, hybrid, or fully remote. Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle intake calls efficiently during peak times. Sound judgment, ethical standards, and honesty about knowledge limits. Spanish fluency is highly desirable. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation including evenings and weekends. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Pay: $60,000+ depending on experience.
