What You'll Do
Analyze company performance drivers, financial statements, and key business metrics Evaluate competitive positioning, market dynamics, and sector-specific trends Assess macro trends and their implications for strategic investment scenarios Compare qualitative narrative commentary against quantitative signals for consistency and accuracy Summarize opportunities, risks, and potential investment scenarios in clear, structured formats Deliver well-reasoned insights aligned to project briefs and analytical frameworks Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Background in investment research, equity analysis, corporate strategy, consulting, or finance Strong analytical reasoning — you can assess complex financial and competitive dynamics quickly Excellent written communication skills — you translate nuanced analysis into clear, structured insights Comfortable working across industries and adapting frameworks to new contexts Detail-oriented and consistent, with a high bar for analytical rigor Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without close supervision
Nice to Have
Experience with valuation methodologies — DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, or similar Familiarity with sector-specific analytical frameworks (tech, healthcare, industrials, financials, etc.) CFA designation or progress toward it Prior experience in buy-side, sell-side, or strategy consulting environments Exposure to AI tools or financial data platforms
