JOB TITLE: Telehealth Mental Health Therapist / Counselor (Independent Contractor)

Job Overview Choices International LLC is a 100% virtual outpatient group counseling practice serving clients in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. We support clinicians with a telehealth platform, centralized billing, and administrative coordination so they can focus on delivering thoughtful, high-quality care. Duties: Deliver individual, couples, family, or other authorized outpatient psychotherapy services via secure telehealth. - Conduct clinical assessments, diagnoses within professional scope, and individualized treatment planning. - Maintain accurate, timely session notes and other clinical documentation in Simple Practice. - Provide evidence-informed, culturally responsive, trauma-informed clinical care. - Conduct risk assessments and coordinate appropriate referrals when clinically indicated. - Follow applicable ethical, privacy, professional licensing, supervision, and payer requirements. - Coordinate appropriately with CHI administrative and clinical personnel. WHO WE ARE SEEKING - Independently licensed mental health clinicians authorized to practice in the applicable state/jurisdiction, including LCPC/LPC, LCSW-C/LCSW/LICSW, LMFT, and comparable eligible credentials. - Eligible graduate-level clinicians, such as LGPCs and LMSWs, when supervision and payer requirements are satisfied. - Clinicians with interest or experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, family care, and appropriate outpatient substance use counseling. - Active, verifiable license; professional liability coverage; secure private telehealth workspace; stable internet; and reliable clinical documentation practices. - Clinical experience with virtual counseling is preferred.
