Junior Field Service Engineer - Electromechanical New Jersey Looking to break into Field Service Engineering within the scientific instrumentation industry? We’re supporting an established laboratory equipment company looking for a remote engineer to travel to customer sites across New Jersey. Previous field service experience is welcome, but our client would also consider candidates from a laboratory, engineering, or similar technical background looking to break into an FSE role.
Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation Provide customer training and technical support Hands-on problem solving and equipment troubleshooting These are home-based, customer-facing positions with regular travel. Engineers have plenty of autonomy and flexibility to manage their own schedules.
Requirements
Science or Engineering background – Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred Strong practical / hands-on skills with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Eager, coachable and able to think independently Willing and able to travel >80% Rewards $65–75K base salary + $600 a month car allowance 401(k) with company match Health Insurance
