Junior Reporting Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Reporting Analyst to support business reporting, data validation, dashboards, and analysis. This entry-level opportunity is suited to candidates with strong spreadsheet and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare recurring and ad hoc business reports. Collect, validate, and organize reporting data. Build or maintain dashboards and visual summaries as assigned. Perform basic SQL and spreadsheet analysis. Identify reporting inconsistencies and data-quality issues. Document report definitions, sources, and calculations. Work with stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements. Present findings and trends in clear business language. Required Qualifications 0–2 years of reporting, data analysis, business analysis, operations, internships, academic projects, or equivalent practical experience. Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills. Basic understanding of data reporting and visualization concepts. Ability to organize, validate, and interpret business information. Basic SQL knowledge or willingness to learn SQL. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to communicate findings clearly to business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar reporting platforms. Experience building dashboards or recurring reports. Familiarity with data-quality and validation practices. Experience with academic, internship, or personal reporting projects. Basic understanding of business metrics and KPIs. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year. This is a full-time W-2 position. Benefits and any additional compensation are provided according to the employer's applicable plans and policies. Work Arrangement This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing in the United States, subject to applicable employment, payroll, and hiring requirements in the candidate's state of residence.
