Lead Data Scientist, Oncology Bioinformatics
Natera, the leader in precision health, is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist in Oncology Bioinformatics to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for data science and a deep knowledge of the Oncology Bioinformatics field.We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist who has the technical acumen and leadership abilities to inspire and mentor a team of data scientists, while also being a hands-on contributor. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in data science, a passion for solving complex data-driven problems, and a deep understanding of the field of Oncology Bioinformatics.The ideal candidate should possess:• A Master’s or PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in data science and oncology bioinformatics• Expertise in developing machine learning models and working with large-scale datasets• Experience in leading data science initiatives and mentoring a team of data scientists• Proven ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to a diverse audience• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and develop data-driven solutions• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and software development lifecycle• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniquesIf you are an innovative, data-driven professional looking to make a real impact in the Oncology Bioinformatics field, we want to hear from you!
