Lead Database Developer

10+ years of experience with SQL Server, must include version 2014 through 2022. Tooling Requirements: Experience with tools (Visio/similar, Redgate, SQL Server Data Tools (SSIS, SQL Server Management studio (SSMS), Microsoft Visual Studio) is MUST. Azure DevOps/ Git, SQL Server Agent, Microsoft Service Broker experience is recommended.

Requirements

Gathering & Translation: Collaborate directly with Business Teams to elicit data storage and analytics needs, converting complex business logic into clean, structured relational table designs Collaborate with all teams to review database requirements and maintain finalized documentation. Work closely with DBA team during release and post release activities. Knowledge and experience in the design and creation of tables, indexes, foreign keys, including the use of appropriate data types, default constraints, etc. Knowledge and experience of advanced SQL and T-SQL development, including designing and writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions. Perform field mapping (mapping between the source and target structure with data cleansing, if necessary). Define the migration process (automated and manual). Develop data extractors and loaders. Responsible for data management and conversion activities such as Data Assessment, cleansing, extracting, migrating and reconciliation of data. Knowledge and experience in the design and creation of XML schema, XML data storage and transformation. XML knowledge is required for legacy data conversion into XML-based structures. Knowledge and experience in performance tuning techniques.
