About the position eScribers is seeking 30 experienced legal transcribers to support a federal contract. This is a remote, independent contractor opportunity for reliable professionals with strong transcription, grammar, punctuation, and listening skills.
Responsibilities
- Transcribing at least 200 audio minutes per week.
- Supporting a federal contract.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen residing in the United States.
- Possess a REAL ID or current, valid U.S. passport.
- Willing to undergo a Public Trust background investigation.
- Have a Windows-based computer running Windows 10 or later.
- Have an active, current version of Microsoft Word.
- At least two years of transcription experience.
- Type at a minimum of 55 words per minute.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrate excellent grammar and punctuation skills.
- Have exceptional listening and comprehension skills.
- Maintain consistent access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
- Have a compatible USB foot pedal, such as the Infinity IN-USB-2 or IN-USB-3.
