What You'll Do

Manage complex liability claims from initial investigation through final resolution. Handle Commercial General Liability, Auto Liability, Professional Liability, Employer's Liability, Law Enforcement Liability, and other casualty exposures. Conduct thorough investigations, evaluate liability and damages, and determine coverage applicability. Establish and maintain appropriate reserves throughout the life of each claim. Develop litigation, defense, and settlement strategies in partnership with defense counsel and clients. Lead claim negotiations and pursue cost-effective claim resolutions. Identify and manage risk transfer and subrogation opportunities. Participate in mediations, arbitrations, claim reviews, and client status meetings. Prepare detailed claim reports and provide regular client updates. Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with regulatory requirements, client guidelines, and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For

Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (5-20 or 6-20). 3+ years of experience handling liability claims and subrogation. Strong background managing litigated, high-severity, and high-exposure claims. Experience handling General Liability, Auto Liability, and Professional Liability claims. Demonstrated ability to evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and settlement value. Strong negotiation, investigation, and claim-resolution skills. Experience working directly with defense counsel and participating in mediations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing a full claim inventory. Willingness to travel as needed for mediations, client meetings, and claim reviews.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish. Experience handling Public Entity claims and exposures. Professional designations such as CPCU, AIC, or equivalent. Additional experience with complex casualty or municipal liability claims.
