Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Healing Horizon Counseling, you will directly contribute to enhancing the mental health of your clients through the following responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' psychiatric and psychosocial needs, tailoring treatment strategies to promote effective coping mechanisms.
• Intervene in crisis situations and provide immediate support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies, while ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to develop tailored treatment plans that set achievable goals and strategies for success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating ongoing care integration.
• Participate in case reviews and team meetings, contributing insights and clinical expertise to elevate patient care and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on supporting adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and life transitions. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competence and sensitivity. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding clients through challenges and fostering their personal growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, providing therapy in a mental health setting.
• Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
• Ability to establish rapport and trust quickly while maintaining professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits
