Licensed Mental Health Therapist Associate (Remote)

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges. The Mental Health Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning while fostering a supportive environment for clients.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs. Provide individual and couple counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Engage in crisis intervention and management as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including case management and referral services. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and utilize ICD-10 and DSM 5 coding for billing purposes. Provide support for clients dealing with grief, PTSD, depression, anger management, chronic pain, and other behavioral health issues. Experience A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT). Experience working with children and families is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience providing virtual therapy sessions is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and behavioral therapy approaches is essential. Previous experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is beneficial.
