Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments during secure video calls to understand clients' mental health needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, family, marriage, and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique backgrounds and experiences of clients.
• Utilize virtual assessment tools to perform mental health screenings, pinpointing specific treatment needs and areas for further support.
• Engage thoroughly with clients to identify their personal goals, preferences, and circumstances for a more tailored approach to therapy.
• Regularly review and adapt individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their evolving needs are met consistently.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and experiences, contributing to the collective knowledge and growth of the practice.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling to enhance the quality of client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. By offering a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, you'll help clients develop coping strategies, improve their emotional well-being, and achieve their treatment goals in a supportive virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in knowledge of counseling theories, principles, techniques, and ethical best practices.

Preferred Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in mental health counseling, especially with individuals facing complex behavioral health issues, including co-occurring disorders and substance use.
• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions as well as individual therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and virtual therapeutic techniques is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
