Local Coordinator / Host Family Recruiter — Marathon, FL
About AnB Education AnB Education is an international exchange organization running the school exchange program, bringing students ages 15–18 from around the world to live with American host families and attend local high schools. This role is recruiter-first We are looking for people who can build a network of host families in their area — and then support the students placed with those families. This is not just supporting one student who is already placed. If you are well-connected in your community and enjoy talking to families, schools, and community groups, this is a good fit. We actually have placed four students in Marathon High School in the past couple years. The Marathon community has been so accepting of our exchange students and we would love to place additional students in the future! What you will do Recruit host families through your personal network, schools, community and faith organizations, and social media Build relationships with local high schools in your area, starting with the Pennsbury School District and surrounding school districts. Conduct in-person home visits and host family orientations Support students and host families throughout their stay, with monthly contact and reports, and semester activities Follow Department of State screening and safety rules What we are looking for You live within 120 miles of the families you will support — ideally within 60 miles for convenience Strong community connections and comfortable talking with families and school staff Organized, reliable, and good with follow-up Able to complete AnB training, provide references, and pass an annual criminal background check Previous exchange, education, or community work is a plus, but not required
Compensation
Approximately $1,125 per student supported Plus $1,000 per new full-year host family placement, paid after successful placement Plus $500 per new semester host family placement, paid after successful placement 6 placements: additional $1,000 bonus 10 placements: $2,000 cash bonus OR a vacation for two to Cancun — airfare, hotel, and meals for 4 days / 3 nights Apply today!
