Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Machine Learning Engineer at IC Wealth App. The Machine Learning Engineer will design, build, and optimize machine learning models that support investment recommendations, risk assessment, and user personalization within the app. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and preparing data, implementing and evaluating algorithms, tuning models for performance, and collaborating with product and engineering teammates to integrate models into production systems. The role involves monitoring model behavior, improving pattern recognition in user and market data, and contributing to experiments that enhance app features and client outcomes.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with experience implementing efficient, scalable solutions. Hands-on expertise in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world data-driven applications. Solid grasp of Statistics and probability, including model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and data analysis. Proficiency in a modern programming language (such as Python) and common machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Experience working with real-world datasets, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and model deployment. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in remote, cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Background or interest in fintech, investment, or financial services is an advantage.
