At A4AL Foundation, we support civic education, student leadership, and opportunities for young people to get involved in public service and policy research. We're looking for motivated individuals who want to help us connect with donors, build meaningful partnerships, and support the programs that make this work possible. Whether you're a student, a recent graduate, or someone looking to explore nonprofit development, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop practical skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute your own ideas along the way. This volunteer opportunity focuses exclusively on the Foundation's educational and charitable programs. What You'll Be Working On: Depending on your interests, skills, and what you'd like to learn, you could get involved in one of the following areas: ● Fundraising & Outreach: Help us find potential supporters, reach out to individuals interested in our mission, and explore new fundraising opportunities. ● Donor Relations: Help us stay connected with supporters, send thank-you messages, share updates, and build lasting relationships with people who believe in our work. ● Partnerships & Sponsorships: Connect with businesses, organizations, and potential sponsors who may be interested in supporting our educational programs and student initiatives. ● Foundation Council: Help us connect with individuals who want to take a more active role in supporting the Foundation and its long-term goals. You won't be expected to do everything! We'll work with you to find an area that matches your strengths, interests, and professional goals. Whether you already have experience or are just getting started, you'll have opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow. Who We're Looking For You don't need years of experience in fundraising to make a difference here! We're looking for people who are curious, motivated, and excited to learn. You might be a great fit if you: ● Enjoy connecting with people and building relationships. ● Are organized, reliable, and comfortable communicating with others. ● Like taking initiative, sharing ideas, and working as part of a team. ● Have an interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, community engagement, or leadership. ● Are comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule. Experience in fundraising, communications, research, sales, or student organizations is always a plus, but it's not required. We value enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and the different perspectives people bring to the team. The Details: Location: Remote — United States Position Type: Volunteer (Unpaid) Time Commitment: Approximately 8–15 hours per week, with some flexibility depending on your responsibilities. We understand that people have classes, jobs, families, and other commitments.
