Our Mission

Everything we do serves one mission, carried by Master Mingtong Gu's teaching and his book: Coming Home to Embodied Awakening: reclaim power, connection, and presence in the Age of AI through Wisdom Healing Qigong and a growing global community. Master Mingtong's calling is to cultivate a worldwide community that lives, leads, and loves from fully embodied wisdom. As technology accelerates everything around us, this work invites people home to presence, to the body, and to the living intelligence within, where healing and awakening reveal themselves as one journey. The Chi Center Master Mingtong founded The Chi Center in 2003 to teach Qigong globally. It is the home of his teaching online and in community, offering people a place to learn and practice Wisdom Healing Qigong dedicated to self-healing and self-empowerment. Students practice with him live every week through The Path of Embodied Awakening (Path Live and Path Mastery), deepen through online programs and day long immersions, retreats, and gather in practice circles and ambassador communities around the world. SouthWest Sanctuary In 2016 Master Mingtong opened a retreat center on 150 acres in the Galisteo Basin south of Santa Fe, New Mexico, built without outside investment. Today it is SouthWest Sanctuary for Embodied Wisdom: a place devoted to earth-based and embodiment traditions, and a living field for embodied awakening, energetic healing and soul-rooted leadership. How the three work together Master Mingtong carries the teaching. The Chi Center brings it to people wherever they live. SouthWest Sanctuary gives it a home on the land. A person might first meet the work through the book, a summit or a Thursday practice, find their rhythm in The Path, and then come to the land for deeper immersion. Both roles below exist to serve that journey. How we work We are a small core team working alongside trusted contractors, and we are in a season of simplifying: clear ownership, fewer people on each project, and a calmer calendar done well. We value simple structures, kept consistently and repeated well. We work with AI as a member of the team, and people hold the voice, the relationships and the judgment. Campaigns · Marketing Automation · Project Management Full-time · Reports to Master Mingtong Gu · Remote within US time zones, New Mexico strongly preferred for onsite days at SouthWest Sanctuary · Compensation: $80-100K The role in one sentence You take Master Mingtong's marketing plans and carry every one of them all the way to launch: the emails, the automations, the pages, the assets, the timeline and the quality. How this role serves the mission Every week, someone opens an email or arrives on a page at the very moment they are ready to come home to their body. This role makes sure the invitation reaches them clearly, in Master Mingtong's own voice, and that every step after their yes flows with care. The mission speaks of a growing global community. Faithful, consistent implementation is how that community keeps growing: each campaign carried well brings more people into practice with The Chi Center and, in time, onto the land at SouthWest Sanctuary. What this role is This is an implementation role. Marketing direction and campaign plans come from Master Mingtong, often developed in depth with AI. Your perspective is welcome as each plan takes shape, and once a plan is agreed, the execution is yours from beginning to end. If you see the big picture clearly, you'll use that gift every day in how you carry the work. The heart of the job is making plans real: on time, fully tested, and in his voice. A campaign cycle, start to finish

  • Planning conversation. Master Mingtong shares the next project, its history and his initial thinking. You ask questions and offer feedback.
  • The campaign package. He returns a complete plan: landing page copy, email copy, the automation outline, the products to create or reuse, and a skeleton timeline for the team.
  • Your review. You look for gaps, suggest changes and confirm whether the timeline is workable. When it is clear and workable, it is yours.
  • Implementation. You build, coordinate and quality-check everything through launch, bringing only high-level questions back to him.
  • Weekly report. Every week you send a clear progress report: what's done, what's next, what needs attention, and the key numbers.

What you'll be accountable for The role grows in three layers. The first is the core of the job from day one. The second and third grow as you settle in. Layer one · Email campaigns and automation, from day one

  • Build every email campaign end to end in Ontraport: sequences, tags, triggers, segments, send schedules and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain products, checkouts, order bumps and upsells, each connected to the right follow-up.
  • Care for the list: clean segmentation, suppression so that people in personal outreach and members who have gone quiet receive no promotional sends, and a send rhythm people can welcome.
  • Test every flow before launch: links, tags, triggers, payments, receipts and mobile display.
  • Quality-check all copy for accuracy, clarity and Master Mingtong's voice. You refine his drafts with care, notice what he changes again and again, and write it down so each next draft arrives closer.
  • Hold landing pages to the same standard when our web designer builds them, including brand, accuracy, links and consistency with the emails. Page design and video and image editing stay with our web and video editor; the quality of the finished campaign is yours.

Layer two · Project management across channels and contractors

  • Keep a rolling three-month marketing calendar with Master Mingtong.
  • Coordinate everyone who contributes to a campaign, including our paid-advertising agency, our web and video editor, our email and social media assistant, and affiliate and partnership contractors. Clear briefs, clear owners, clear dates.
  • Run one simple project-tracking rhythm the whole team actually uses.

Layer three · Relationships over time

  • As you grow into the role, coordinate campaign work with affiliates, partners and PR so every channel carries the same message on the same timeline.

Across all three · AI and repeatability

  • Use AI every day to draft, check, summarize and speed up your work.
  • Turn each campaign into a repeatable process with written steps and checklists, so the next launch asks less of everyone.
  • Notice when an AI step is creating more work for people, say so, and help change it.
  • Continue to expand AI automation and discern and integrate human and AI capacity.

What you bringRequired

  • At least three years of hands-on email marketing and marketing automation inside a CRM such as Ontraport, HubSpot, Keap, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel or Klaviyo, where you personally built the sequences, tags, triggers and segments.
  • Proven project management: multi-part campaigns with many moving pieces and several contributors, delivered on the date promised.
  • A strong copywriting and editing ear, and the maturity to refine another person's voice with care.
  • Daily, practical use of AI tools in your marketing work, and real enthusiasm for building AI into how a team works.
  • A fast learner of complex systems. Ontraport has its own logic, even experienced CRM users relearn it, and we need you fluent quickly.
  • Quality-control discipline: you test before anything goes live.
  • Receipts: real campaigns you implemented, and the results they produced.

Bonus

  • Ontraport experience, a significant advantage.
  • Multimedia creation and design: Canva, Descript, video and audio editing, graphics.
  • Experience working with a paid-advertising agency, an affiliate program or PR.
  • Experience in wellness, healing arts, contemplative practice, education or retreat settings, and a personal practice of your own.
  • Landing page builders, Zoom events, Slack and Google Workspace.

Who thrives here You feel a genuine resonance with this mission. You are steady and strong, standing firmly on your own two feet. You love taking a clear plan and finishing it beautifully. You speak up early, especially when something needs attention. You would rather do a few things excellently, and you find meaning in consistency. You can receive a teacher's voice and vision with respect, and bring the full strength of your skill in service of it. What success looks like First 30 days You know our Ontraport account (its tags, automations, products and history) well enough to build in it. You have learned alongside the current team through the handover and taken ownership of the weekly community email and at least one live campaign. By 90 days Campaigns launch on the agreed date with every flow tested. The weekly report arrives every week. Master Mingtong's time goes into direction and final review. Recurring voice corrections are written down, and drafts need fewer rounds. By six months A three-month marketing calendar is running. Contractors receive clear briefs and deliver on time. Each of our main campaigns has written steps so it can run again with less effort. Tools we use Ontraport, WordPress, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Fathom, Canva, Descript, Viktor, Claude and other AI tools. How to apply Send your resume along with:

  • Two or three campaigns you implemented yourself (an email sequence, an automation map or a landing page) and what happened: opens, clicks, sales, conversion rate.
  • The CRMs you have built in, and the most complex automation you have built.
  • A short note on how you use AI in your work right now.
  • A few sentences on what draws you to this mission and this work.
