MBA Supply Chain Intern
Position Summary: The role focuses on sales, operations, and quality improvement. The company's internship program is driven by a single focus: to find the company's future leaders. The MBA Intern Program runs 10-12 weeks and based at headquarters in El Segundo, CA. The internship takes place in Summer. Position Responsibilities: Leading or supporting sourcing initiatives to identify best in class suppliers for Global the company’s functions. Distribution & transportation strategy management. Category prioritization and assessment i.e. spend and market analysis, stakeholder needs assessment. Evaluate options to improve the flexibility and responsiveness in the dynamic marketplace. Establish a process framework that provides mutual benefits to Sales, Operations, Distribution. Perform continuous improvement activities by using Lean methodologies. Developing action plans related to strategic logistics initiatives across multiple international markets. Present recommendations and results to Senior Executives. Present ideas effectively to individuals and groups. Sourcing & Capacity Management. Required Qualifications: Class of 2028 MBA student enrolled in a full-time or part-time program. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related field. Proficient in Excel and/or Tableau. CPG experience. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, or related field. Strong analytical and quantitative skills required. A clear understanding of supply chain concepts. Ability to think strategically and creatively. Must be proactive, high energy, detail-oriented, results-oriented. Ability to plan, organize and analyze. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels, across multiple functions. Position Highlights: Global Procurement & Strategy. Planning/SIOP. Global Logistics.
