Mechanical Engineer III

Serac Inc. seeks Mechanical Engineer III: Designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical devices and systems, with a focus on automation; Conducting research to identify solutions to technical problems; Developing prototypes using CAD software; Overseeing manufacturing and installation processes to ensure quality and safety standards; Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance; Troubleshooting issues; and Adhering to safety requirements. Job Site: 160 E. Elk Trail, Carol Stream, IL 60188. Requires Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Requires three years of experience in the job offered or in mechanical engineering for packaging manufacturing. Requires experience with: RB, Food, ESL, and XP Machine Design; Document Control Systems; Filling, Capping, and Packing Industries; Designing Chain Conveyors; and Creating Pneumatic and Hydraulic Drawings. Salary: $109,387/Year. Requires up to 15% travel to suppliers in North America and Europe. Hybrid: work-from-home permitted 2 days/week.
