Medical Malpractice Attorney

Medical Malpractice Attorney Location: Encino, CA Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid or Fully Remote We are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney with a strong civil litigation background to handle medical negligence and professional liability cases. The ideal candidate will have excellent legal research, writing, discovery, and case management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Draft complaints, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Investigate medical negligence claims and evaluate liability, causation, and damages. Manage discovery, depositions, and medical record reviews. Coordinate with medical experts and develop litigation strategies. Prepare substantive motions and negotiate settlements. Prepare cases for trial, including exhibits and witness outlines. Maintain client relationships and manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Requirements

J.D. from an accredited law school. Active California Bar license. Minimum 3 years of civil litigation experience. Medical malpractice, healthcare litigation, or professional liability experience strongly preferred. Experience reviewing medical records and working with expert witnesses preferred. Strong legal writing, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage cases independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
