What You Will Do
Build customer-facing product experiences across the research platform Own major features and products from concept through production deployment Develop full-stack applications with a frontend-heavy product focus Build AI-powered workflows for research, interviewing, and insights generation Design and implement scalable APIs and backend systems Collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership teams Develop chat-based and conversational AI experiences Build recruitment, incentives, and participant management systems Design intuitive user experiences that delight enterprise customers Contribute to design systems and platform-wide product architecture Build distributed systems supporting AI-powered research workflows Drive technical decisions across product and platform initiatives Work across TypeScript, React, backend services, and APIs Improve scalability, reliability, and performance of core platform systems Build greenfield products and features with high ownership Collaborate directly with founders and senior leadership Help shape long-term product and engineering strategy Operate as a high-impact individual contributor Build software that changes how businesses make decisions Ideal Candidate Background 2-8 years of experience in product engineering or full-stack software engineering Experience at early-stage startups (Seed through Series D) Experience owning major products or features from 0 → 1 Strong proficiency with React and TypeScript Strong product engineering mindset Experience building customer-facing SaaS applications Strong frontend engineering capabilities Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs Strong software engineering fundamentals Experience operating in fast-paced startup environments Ability to work effectively in highly ambiguous environments Strong product intuition and customer empathy Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams Ability to own projects end-to-end Strong communication skills BS in Computer Science from a top-tier university preferred Experience as a Founder or Founding Engineer preferred Strong Signals Founding Engineer experience Founder or startup-building experience Experience building products from 0 → 1 Fast promotions and accelerated career growth Coding competition winners Internal engineering excellence awards Strong React and TypeScript expertise Experience building consumer-grade user experiences Experience working directly with founders Product-minded engineers with strong design intuition Experience at fast-growing venture-backed startups Strong customer empathy and product ownership Ability to operate with minimal process and high autonomy Experience building AI-powered applications Demonstrated startup execution and ownership High technical aptitude combined with strong product sense
