Mathematics teacher (fully remote) We’re looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate math tutors from the US to tutor students online and help them reach their academic and personal goals. As a Math tutor on Preply, you run your tutoring business your way. You set your own hourly rate and choose when you teach. There’s no minimum number of hours. Teach a few hours alongside other commitments or build a full-time schedule, and change it as your needs change. What you need to become a Preply tutor: Strong command of math fundamentals through your area of specialization (algebra, calculus, statistics, test prep, etc.) Teaching qualifications preferred but not required Experience teaching one-to-one classes (preferably online), with either kids, adults, or both High-speed internet connection Cheerful, patient, and responsible attitude towards teaching To apply, be ready with the following: A short description of yourself and your strengths as a tutor Your best headshot A short video introduction to help students get to know you (you can record this on Preply when you apply) A digital copy of your certifications and/or diploma (optional) Your schedule and availability Once registered, the Preply team will evaluate your profile and activate it within 2 working days. Then, you’ll need to complete a short onboarding process to become visible to students. Here you can find a short video explaining how to create a tutor video, along with some additional resources on tutor profiles. If you’d like to teach a specific subject, please choose “Math” during the registration process; you’ll be able to add your specialty (ex. calculus, test prep) once your profile is approved.
