In this role, you will assist the lead 3D artist with active production workflows-primarily focusing on photorealistic product visualization (lighting, texturing, rendering, and compositing existing 3D models into various settings)-while also contributing to traditional motion graphics, promotional video, and educational digital content using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Key Responsibilities:

  • 3D Look Development & Scene Assembly: Work with pre-existing 3D models (e.g., bottles, vials, containers, packaging with liquids) to place them into various realistic environments and scene setups.
  • Lighting & Shading: Build realistic studio lighting setups and utilize Redshift materials/shaders to accurately depict glass, transparent/translucent materials, liquids, plastics, and reflective finishes (refraction, transmission, absorption, IOR).
  • Render Optimization: Optimize Redshift render settings (sampling, noise reduction, clean multi-pass output) for both high-resolution stills and animated video deliverables.
  • Motion Graphics & Compositing: Design, animate, and composite 2D/3D motion graphics assets into promotional and educational video content using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • AI Tool Integration: Leverage AI-assisted animation and production tools to streamline asset generation and motion workflows where applicable.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Take creative direction smoothly, turn around revisions under tight deadlines, and maintain organized project files.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design and video editing.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro (~5 years preferred).
  • Cinema 4D Proficiency: Solid working knowledge of Maxon Cinema 4D, including lighting, scene assembly, material application, and camera animation.
  • Redshift Rendering: Hands-on experience with the Redshift render engine (shaders, lighting rigs, render settings, and passes).
  • AI-Assisted Animation: Demonstrated familiarity or practical experience using AI tools for animation, asset creation, or motion enhancements.
  • Compositing: Strong ability to composite 3D passes and elements cleanly into live-action or motion graphics scenes.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with photorealistic rendering of glass, liquids, reflective surfaces, and cosmetic/medical packaging.
  • Familiarity with healthcare, pharmaceutical, or commercial consumer brand aesthetics.
  • Solid 3D modeling and UV mapping skills (though primary tasks involve existing models).

Portfolio Requirements (Mandatory for Review): Candidates must provide a portfolio or reel link demonstrating:

  • Traditional Motion Graphics: Clean typography, transitions, kinetic design, and polished video editing.
  • Cinema 4D / Redshift Work: High-end product renders, custom lighting setups, and realistic material handling (especially glass, liquid, or translucent objects).
  • Note: Work must be original; please specify breakdown of responsibilities for team/commercial projects.
