About the Role

We’re seeking a National Account Manager to lead assigned specialty, prestige, and off-price accounts, including Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Nordstrom, TJX, and other key retail partners. You’ll own account planning, forecasting, assortment, distribution, promotional strategy, trade investment, and overall commercial performance. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who understands beauty retail, builds strong customer relationships, and turns opportunities into profitable growth. What You’ll Do Own sales, forecasting, trade investment, and profitability for assigned accounts. Develop and execute account plans to meet revenue, distribution, and profitability targets. Build relationships with buyers, merchants, planners, replenishment teams, and other customer stakeholders. Lead assortment, distribution, placement, pricing, and promotional recommendations. Manage line reviews, new-item presentations, customer meetings, and business reviews. Identify opportunities to grow brands, expand distribution, and introduce new products or categories. Develop appropriate off-price opportunities based on customer needs, available inventory, and commercial priorities. Maintain accurate monthly forecasts using customer orders, POS trends, inventory, promotions, and expected timing. Track performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, identifying risks and opportunities early. Use POS and retailer data, market trends, and competitive insights to develop growth recommendations. Monitor customer inventory, weeks of supply, replenishment, and out-of-stock risk. Partner with Marketing on retailer-specific activation, launches, and demand-generation programs. Work with Supply Chain and Operations to align inventory and launch timing with customer demand. Plan and evaluate promotions and trade investment to drive profitable retail sales. Manage new-item setup, retailer submissions, product information, and other account requirements. Resolve account issues with cross-functional teams and communicate sales expectations, risks, opportunities, and support needs. What You Bring 5+ years of beauty, personal care, or related CPG sales or account management experience. Direct specialty, prestige, or off-price retail experience strongly preferred. Experience with Ulta Beauty, Sephora, Nordstrom, TJX, or comparable retailers strongly preferred. Experience managing assortment, distribution, placement, promotions, and retail growth initiatives. A track record of building customer relationships and delivering sales growth. Strong commercial and financial skills, including forecasting, trade investment, and account profitability. Experience using POS, retailer, and syndicated data to identify opportunities. Strong analytical, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with retailer portals and product information systems; Ulta PIM or comparable systems are a plus. Ability to manage both strategic account planning and detailed day-to-day execution. A high level of ownership and the ability to work effectively in a lean, fast-moving organization. Bachelor’s degree preferred. How Success Is Measured Net sales against budget and forecast, forecast accuracy, and profitable growth. Effective trade investment, promotional execution, and ROI. Distribution and assortment growth, retail sell-through, and account performance. Inventory health, in-stock performance, and successful new-item launches. Customer relationship development and conversion of incremental revenue and appropriate off-price opportunities. What We Look For We’re looking for someone who understands beauty retail and takes ownership of the business. You stay close to customers and performance data, identify risks early, and bring forward actionable recommendations. You also understand how to create incremental off-price opportunities while protecting the broader brand and customer strategy. Individual contributions are visible, with opportunities for strong performers to take on larger customers, broader channel responsibilities, or expanded commercial leadership.
