Role Description The National Director of Business Development is a full-time, remote role responsible for expanding Al Raya Engineering Consultant’s client base and strengthening its presence across key markets. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and leading sales initiatives for architectural and engineering consultancy services. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the business development pipeline, conducting market research, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts with prospective and existing clients. The Director will collaborate closely with internal technical teams to align service offerings with client needs, oversee key account management, and implement strategies to enhance customer retention. The position also requires monitoring performance metrics, reporting on business development activities, and continuously improving processes to drive sustainable growth.

Candidates should possess strong Business Development and Sales skills to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Candidates should possess Business Relationship Management and Relationship Building skills to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships. Candidates should possess Customer Retention skills to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction of key accounts. Candidates should have experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors, with an understanding of consultancy services. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in digital collaboration tools for remote work. Candidates should have proven leadership abilities, including strategic planning, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an advantage.
