About The Role The company is seeking a .NET Developer with approximately three to five years of professional software development experience. In this fully remote role, you will design, build, test, and maintain features for a large-scale SaaS application. You will work across backend services, APIs, business logic, and integrations, collaborating with Product, Quality Assurance, and Engineering colleagues to deliver reliable solutions. The role offers meaningful ownership, exposure to complex application challenges, and the opportunity to contribute to an ongoing platform modernization initiative. The expected annual salary range is $110,000 to $130,000.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include three to five years of professional software development experience and strong hands-on skills with C# and .NET or .NET Core. Candidates should have experience developing web applications and backend services, as well as designing, developing, or consuming RESTful APIs. A strong understanding of SQL and relational databases, object-oriented programming, and software development best practices is important. Experience using Git and modern development workflows is also expected. The successful candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting complex technical issues, communicating effectively with teammates, and working independently in a remote environment. Additional experience that may be helpful includes working with SaaS or multi-tenant applications, Entity Framework or another ORM, and cloud services such as Azure or AWS. Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as React or Angular, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or legacy application modernization is welcome. Previous PHP or Laravel experience is a plus, but it is not required.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain production applications using C# and .NET. Build and enhance backend services, APIs, business logic, and integrations that support platform features. Translate business and technical requirements into clean, maintainable code, and collaborate with Product, QA, and Engineering partners to plan, deliver, and validate enhancements. Work with RESTful APIs and relational databases while helping ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. Contribute to platform modernization and identify practical opportunities to improve code quality, development processes, and application performance.
