Network Engineer Prescient Solutions is an award-winning, Chicagoland-based Managed IT Services Partner. We are looking for a dynamic Network Engineer who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As a Network Engineer, you will: Maintain, Configure and Secure our client's network infrastructure; Work cross-functionally across our client's enterprises between technology and the rest of their business to design and implement large scale solutions; and Implement Prescient Solutions' best practices. The position is mostly remote, with project-based on-site requirements. Network Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports both operational and engineering functions at our client sites; Troubleshoots and maintains client's IT network 24/7; Evaluates customer generated requirements and works with the clients to ensure the implementation meets the clients' needs; Works with technicians and engineering groups at both Prescient Solutions and at the client locations to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required; Prepares operational and technical documentation; Mentors junior team members; and Performs other duties and assists with special projects as needed. 5 - 8 years of experience configuring, installing, supporting, and maintaining network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers and firewalls; Proficient with Cisco Meraki-based networking; Able to work on-site in Pingree Grove, IL for projects; Able to balance multiple priorities concurrently; and Authorized to work for any employer in the US.
