Network Security Automation Engineer

Location: 100% Remote within European Union Duration of the project : 01/01/2027 to 12/31/2027 Description External resources to support IT Network Security operations, including firewall management, network security automation and operational improvements. Scope of Services / Deliverables: Administration and management of Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls. Design and development of automated solutions for the Network Security Orchestrator, including backend systems and portal servers. Development and implementation of automation tools for routine operational tasks, including upgrades. 4. Candidate requirements: citizenship of a country belonging to both the EU and NATO, employment by a German legal entity under German Labor law, and Ü2 sabotage protection security clearance under the German SÜG. Skills Firewall expertise (CP, FN, PAN, ASA), including API-based policy changes; Python, .NET, Bash scripting; Tufin and TOS Aurora (ST/SC API); Kubernetes; Docker; GitHub; Ansible; Wiki; Jira; Linux administration; ability to understand existing code; customer requirements analysis and clarification.
