🚀 Founding Nonprofit Consultant Part-Time | Commission-Based | Remote | US Nonprofit MarketZeepText is an SMS communication platform built for nonprofits and mission-driven organizations. We help organizations communicate with supporters, donors, volunteers, members, and communities through simple, affordable, compliant text messaging. We’re currently pre-launch and looking for an experienced nonprofit professional to join us as a Founding Nonprofit Consultant. This is not a traditional sales job. We’re looking for someone who already understands the nonprofit world, has relationships with nonprofit leaders, and can help us build the right product and go-to-market strategy for this market. 🎯 What You’ll Do 1. Build Relationships Identify and connect with nonprofit Executive Directors, Development Directors, Communications Directors, and Operations leaders. Leverage your existing nonprofit network to introduce ZeepText to relevant organizations. Build trusted relationships with potential customers rather than relying on high-volume cold selling. 2. Have Discovery Conversations Speak directly with nonprofit leaders to understand how they currently use SMS. Learn about their challenges with donor communication, fundraising, events, volunteers, memberships, and community engagement. Identify where existing SMS platforms are expensive, complicated, or difficult to manage. Gather feedback on what nonprofits actually need from an SMS platform. 3. Introduce ZeepText Explain how ZeepText can help nonprofits communicate with their audiences through SMS. Conduct or coordinate product demonstrations. Help qualified organizations evaluate ZeepText for their use cases. Support prospects through the early stages of the buying process. 4. Help Shape the ProductYour feedback will go directly to the founding team. You’ll help us understand What nonprofit organizations actually need Which features matter most What pricing makes sense What prevents nonprofits from adopting SMS How nonprofits evaluate communication tools What messaging and positioning resonate with nonprofit leaders You won’t just be selling the product — you’ll help us build the nonprofit version of ZeepText around real customer needs. 👤 Who We’re Looking ForThis role is ideal for someone who has spent significant time working inside the nonprofit ecosystem. Required 10+ years of experience working in or closely with nonprofit organizations Strong understanding of the US nonprofit landscape Existing relationships or network with nonprofit leaders Experience working with Executive Directors, Development/Fundraising teams, Communications teams, or nonprofit leadership Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, volunteer management, and community outreach Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable having consultative conversations with senior nonprofit leaders Self-directed and able to work independently Your Background Could BeYou might be: A former nonprofit Executive Director Nonprofit consultant Fundraising or development consultant Nonprofit communications professional Nonprofit technology consultant Former nonprofit staff member with a strong leadership network Advisor to nonprofit organizations Nonprofit association or community leader You do not need to be a traditional salesperson. What matters most is your nonprofit experience, credibility, relationships, and ability to understand customer needs. 💼 What This Role Looks LikeThis is a part-time, remote, commission-based founding role.
