Nuclear Work Week/Work Control Manager - SMR - REMOTE
Support the leading SMR in development of their operational programs.100% remote No more rotating shift work Work 9/80 schedule and have daily flexibility 12-24 month contract, possible extension $110-140/hr.based on experience POSITION Summary:Creating standardized work packages, conducting operational reviews of engineering solutions, and developing procedural documentation.Leverages comprehensive expertise in maintenance, scheduling, and regulatory compliance to support the Plant Maintenance Program Manager in developing and implementing operational programs, including work control, tagging, and maintenance planning.REQUIREMENTS:Former or current SRO license.Background in operations, work control, work planning (or cycle planning) for commercial nuclear power plants in the U.S.B.S.degree in a technical field OR 5 years nuclear plant operations experience in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 8 years of full-time working experience in the U.S.commercial nuclear power industry.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Develops implementing work control, tagging, outage planning, and operational programs procedures needed to support construction and operational plant needs.Develops standard clearance orders (lockout/tagouts), work orders, and task instructions for scheduled maintenance (online and outage) and equipment installation.Performs design reviews to ensure the plant can be operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner.Prepares and presents technical information concerning company projects to the NRC, potential customers, and other stakeholders.Where appropriate, develops cost estimates and schedules to support Product and Project Delivery, Projects Controls, and Business Development.Provides resolution for complex problems using professional operational principles and company objectives to resolve unique situations.Attends daily and weekly work management meetings as the company work control liaison with site management when required.Performs other duties as assigned.by law..
