The organization emphasizes innovation, regulatory compliance, and robust risk management to support institutional lenders, investors, and global clients. Role Description The Open Banking Architect will design and oversee open banking solutions that support IT Capital©’s trade finance and fintech platforms. This full-time remote role involves defining technical architecture for APIs and microservices, ensuring secure integration between financial institutions, third-party providers, and internal systems. The architect will collaborate with software development teams to translate business requirements into scalable designs, select appropriate technologies, and establish architecture standards and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading integration projects, reviewing solution designs, guiding implementation, and ensuring compliance with security, regulatory (e.g., KYC/AML), and performance requirements. The role also includes coordinating with product, operations, and risk teams to align open banking capabilities with business objectives and client needs across LATAM and international markets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience in designing secure, scalable open banking or financial services platforms. Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, including hands-on experience with APIs, microservices, and modern programming frameworks relevant to fintech. Candidates should possess Integration skills, including designing and implementing system integrations, API gateways, and data flows between external partners and internal platforms. Candidates should possess Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex technical initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience with open banking standards (e.g., PSD2, API specifications), financial data security, and regulatory compliance (KYC/AML) is highly beneficial. Knowledge of cloud architectures, distributed systems, and event-driven or microservices-based designs is preferred. Background in fintech, trade finance, or banking technology, ideally with exposure to LATAM markets, is an advantage. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, international environment.
