Remote: OpenText BizManager Consultant – EDI Integration | Contract Remedi Electronic Commerce Group has a client seeking a Senior OpenText BizManager Consultant for an immediate, part-time engagement supporting an EDI platform upgrade, AS2 communications transition, and upcoming ERP go-live.The Challenge Our client, a manufacturing organization, is upgrading its OpenText BizManager environment and transitioning EDI trading partner integrations and AS2 communications from Boomi back to BizManager. The project is underway, with a consultant assisting in the implementation and initial testing already completed for several trading partner integrations. With an ERP go-live approaching, the client needs additional BizManager expertise to help its internal team navigate technical requirements, coordinate testing, resolve connectivity issues, and ensure implementation activities remain on track. This is not a full platform implementation or traditional EDI mapping assignment. The emphasis is on practical technical guidance, hands-on troubleshooting, and supporting a successful transition to production.The Work Provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance with OpenText BizManager configuration, connectivity, and troubleshooting. Assist with AS2 communications setup, including certificates, credentials, trading partner connections, and configuration requirements. Support the transition of EDI trading partner communications from Boomi to OpenText BizManager. Help prepare and execute connectivity tests between BizManager and external trading partner endpoints. Work with internal technical and external personnel to identify configuration gaps, resolve issues, and maintain implementation progress. Participate in virtual technical meetings and provide guidance on migration readiness and go-live activities. Assist with troubleshooting and stabilization following the ERP go-live. Help internal personnel develop a stronger understanding of BizManager communications and support procedures. The Outcome A successful consultant will help the client complete its EDI communications transition, establish reliable AS2 connectivity through OpenText BizManager, and navigate its ERP go-live with fewer technical disruptions. The engagement should also leave the internal team better equipped to manage the BizManager environment and troubleshoot future connectivity issues.The Ideal Consultant Strong hands-on experience with OpenText BizManager, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated expertise with AS2 communications, digital certificates, connectivity configuration, and trading partner testing. Experience supporting EDI/B2B integration environments and production cutovers. Familiarity with EDI platform upgrades or migrations involving trading partner communications. Experience with Boomi as an EDI integration or communications platform is helpful. Exposure to ERP implementation projects and go-live stabilization is beneficial. Familiarity with RESTful web services, XML, or API-based integration is a plus. Comfortable collaborating with internal IT teams and third-party technical services providers. Able to work independently, provide practical technical recommendations, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced BizManager consultant who can provide focused technical assistance on a part-time basis while helping a client navigate a critical integration transition.
