Operations Analyst

Job Summary The Operations Analyst prepares the operating data Commonstake Partners reviews before a client's business changes hands. The Operations Analyst collects reports from the client's systems, reconciles them and turns them into the schedules and summaries the partners use in valuation and buyer discussions. The position is full-time and remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Requests sales, payroll, inventory and customer reports from client teams and tracks what has arrived Cleans and reconciles client data in Excel Builds schedules of revenue by customer, product and month Compares operating data with the financial statements and lists the differences Prepares charts and summary tables for partner review Maintains the data room index for operational documents Other duties as assigned. QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field, or equivalent experience Experience in operations, financial or business analysis, including internships Excel: pivot tables, lookups and charts Preferred QualificationsPower BI or Tableau QuickBooks or another small-business accounting system Exposure to valuation or due diligence work Working Conditions This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Work is performed at a desk with prolonged computer use and video meetings. Hours follow U.S. business hours, with more work near assignment deadlines.
