Oracle DBA (Contract position, US-based only)

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our Oracle DBA team. Technical stack/qualifications required: -5+ years as Oracle DBA (Oracle Certification is an advantage) - Oracle Database Administration 19c - Oracle ASM/Grid/Data Guard - Oracle Database performance tuning, SQL-specific performance tuning - Oracle Database backup & recovery (experience in backup & recovery techniques) - Oracle Database and related apps reactive incident management for all type of issues - OS: Linux, Unix, Windows - Scripting: SQL, Bash, - Cloud: Oracle OCI, AWS, MS Azure (will be an advantage, not a must) Responsibilities: You will be responsible for: - Migrating Oracle systems: ground-to-cloud, cloud-to-cloud Upgrading & patching Oracle DBs - Managing Oracle DB structure, storage allocation, database access, roles & privileges - Oracle Database user’s management - Oracle Database backup (making backup schedules depending on business strategy: daily backup, weekly backup etc.) - Oracle Database recovery (recovering from media failure, recovering tables dropped accidentally, recovering data files etc.) - Oracle ASM installation, disk addition and grid patching Additional Requirements: - Fast-learner, keen on details, and self-motivated. - Collaborates well within and across teams. - Communicates openly with team members and others. - Works with the team to review deliverables and ensure quality and accuracy.
