We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) / Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations, production support, financial accounting configurations, and integration of external transaction data into Oracle Fusion. The role requires a strong understanding of General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, accounting rules, transaction mapping, reconciliation, and Oracle Fusion data-loading processes. The consultant will work closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to resolve production issues, support post-go-live operations, and ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support Oracle Fusion Financials implementations, with a primary focus on FAH/AHCS. Configure and maintain Accounting Hub rules, accounting methods, journal line rules, mapping sets, and supporting accounting configurations. Integrate external financial transactions into FAH/AHCS and generate accounting entries in Oracle Fusion. Support end-to-end financial transaction flows, from source-system data ingestion through accounting generation, transfer to General Ledger, and reconciliation. Provide functional support for General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Fusion Expenses, and Subledger Accounting (SLA). Troubleshoot production issues related to accounting generation, transaction validation, journal creation, data imports, and accounting transfers. Work with FBDI templates, data imports, interface files, and Oracle Fusion integration processes. Analyze accounting discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Support reconciliation between source systems, FAH/AHCS, subledgers, and General Ledger. Collaborate with technical teams on data mapping, interface design, integration testing, and defect resolution. Participate in functional testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing. Provide post-go-live and hypercare support in recently implemented Oracle Fusion environments. Coordinate directly with Finance, Accounting, business users, and client stakeholders through frequent calls and issue-resolution discussions. Maintain functional documentation, issue logs, root-cause analyses, and support procedures. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong functional experience in Oracle Fusion Financials. Deep hands-on expertise in Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) / Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS). Experience delivering a minimum of 3 end-to-end FAH/AHCS implementations. Strong functional knowledge of General Ledger and Subledger Accounting. Hands-on post-go-live support experience across GL, AP, AR, FAH/AHCS, Fixed Assets, and Fusion Expenses. Strong understanding of external transaction ingestion, accounting transformations, and accounting generation in Oracle Fusion. Practical experience with FBDI, data imports, and Oracle Fusion data-load and integration processes. Good understanding of accounting rules, transaction mapping, journal generation, reconciliation, and financial accounting flows. Experience in production support, incident management, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently in a high-volume support environment with frequent client calls and time-sensitive production issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting recently implemented Oracle Fusion Financials environments. Experience in implementation-to-support transition, hypercare, and stabilization. Familiarity with external source-system integrations and high-volume financial transaction processing.
