Why this role Work from anywhere in the U.S. with full remote flexibility and a competitive hourly rate. You'll do hands-on Oracle Retail delivery across the Retail Merchandising suite — Merchandising (RMS/RMFCS), Price Management (RPM), Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM), and the integration layer — working directly with merchandising, supply chain, and finance stakeholders. No commute, no relocation.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Oracle Retail Consultant to implement, upgrade, and support the Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation suite, on-premise (RMS/ReIM/RPM) and/or Oracle Retail Cloud (RMFCS/Pricing Cloud). The ideal candidate is a practitioner who has configured, tested, and supported these modules in production — not a purely theoretical or classroom background. Comfortable in an onshore-offshore delivery model. This role is fully remote (U.S.). Work Authorization & Engagement Terms: Open to U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders (Lawful Permanent Residents) only. No visa sponsorship is available now or in the future. W2 only — Corp-to-Corp (C2C) engagements are not available. Pre-Engagement Screening: This role requires successful completion of a background verification, drug test, and E-Verify employment eligibility confirmation as a condition of placement.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support Oracle Retail Merchandising (RMS / RMFCS): foundation data, item/location, purchase orders, replenishment, stock ledger, and inventory transactions. Implement and support Retail Price Management (RPM): price changes, clearances, promotions, price events, and conflict handling. Configure and support Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM): matching tolerances, discrepancy resolution, auto-match, and financial posting to GL/AP. Support merchandising integrations through RIB / Oracle Retail Integration (RICS), RMS-to-finance (RFM) postings, and inbound/outbound data flows with POS, WMS, allocation, and planning. Lead fit-gap analysis, BR100/solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, data conversion, cutover, and hypercare. Troubleshoot batch cycle issues (RETL, nightly batch), data integrity, and reconciliation across RMS, RPM, and ReIM. Write and troubleshoot SQL / PL-SQL for data validation, defect analysis, and reconciliation. Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and knowledge transfer to business users and offshore resources. Required Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on Oracle Retail functional / techno-functional experience in production implementations and support (not theoretical or training-only). Hands-on configuration of Oracle Retail Merchandising (RMS and/or RMFCS) including foundation, purchasing, and inventory flows. Strong hands-on experience with Retail Price Management (RPM) and/or Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM). Working knowledge of the Oracle Retail integration layer (RIB/RICS/ROM) and merchandising batch processing. Proficiency writing SQL / PL-SQL for troubleshooting, data validation, and reconciliation. Experience across the full lifecycle: fit-gap, configuration, SIT/UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support. Preferred Experience with Oracle Retail Cloud (RMFCS / Pricing Cloud) and SaaS integration (ROM, RICS, file-based). Exposure to adjacent modules: Allocation, Store Inventory (SIM/EICS), Xstore POS, or Retail Insights. Experience integrating Oracle Retail with Oracle Financials (EBS/Fusion) for stock ledger and invoice posting. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
