Monthly Bonus Incentive Job Purpose - The Orthopedic Rehab Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality clinical oversight and patient support within ROMTech's Clinician guided at-home rehab model. This role ensures patients safely and effectively utilize prescribed rehabilitation devices through real-time monitoring, patient education, clinical intervention, and treatment support. By combining clinical expertise with operational collaboration, the Orthopedic Rehab Specialist promotes therapy adherence, improves patient outcomes, supports regulatory compliance, and contributes to the effectiveness of ROMTech's Therapy Operations function in a continuous-care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties - Monitor patients in real time through audio and visual technology while utilizing PortableConnect and related rehabilitation devices. - Ensure patient safety, treatment compliance, and adherence to prescribed rehabilitation plans. - Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and clinical needs using sound clinical judgment and professional communication. - Provide patient education regarding device operation, treatment expectations, rehabilitation goals, and therapy adherence. - Supervise and provide clinical oversight of Patient Monitoring Assistants, including review and approval of work as required. - Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation in designated EHR and clinical systems. - Identify, anticipate, escalate, and mitigate workflow disruptions that may affect patient monitoring
