Outside Sales Representative
Michigan Automotive Solutions is hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative with a strong automotive and diagnostic background to join our team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will drive business growth by building and maintaining relationships with key contacts in the automotive industry. Your primary focus will be identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers in the automotive sector, leveraging your existing industry contacts. Promote our diagnostic equipment solutions to suppliers, and other relevant businesses through company generated leads in your protected territories. Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to drive sales. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with current customers. Maintain and grow assigned territory. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met, from project initiation through to delivery. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to position our solutions effectively. Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy. Qualifications: Proven experience in sales and account management, specifically within the automotive diagnostic equipment industry. An established network of contacts within the automotive sector is a plus. Strong knowledge of OEM and Aftermarket scan tools is a plus. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
