Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Part-Time Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a wide range of legal practice areas, including real estate law, counsel on loans and tenant law. As a part-time attorney, you will provide expert legal counsel, draft and review legal documents, conduct research, and support litigation efforts.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and counsel across multiple practice areas such as real estate, tenant relations, and securities law. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. Prepare for trial by assisting with trial documentation, court depositions, and litigation strategies in general & commercial litigation cases. Manage legal case files efficiently using case management systems; maintain organized records of client interactions and case progress. Support litigation efforts through court depositions, trial preparation, and procedural law application. Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal options, progress updates, and answer inquiries professionally.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction(s). Proven experience in multiple legal fields including commercial real estate, evictions and other related subject matter. Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence. Knowledge of procedural law and courtroom procedures; experience with court depositions is preferred. Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
