Part-Time Geotechnical Engineer (PE) – Oregon (Remote) Company:HRK Engineering & Field Services Location:Remote (Oregon license required) Position Type:Part-Time HRK Engineering & Field Services is seeking a licensed Geotechnical Engineer (PE) in Oregon to provide part-time oversight of geotechnical office and field work performed by our Engineering-in-Training (EIT) staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide professional oversight and QA/QC for geotechnical investigations, reports, and recommendations Review geotechnical reports, calculations, and related documents Guide and mentor EIT staff in both office and field activities Oversee field exploration programs (drilling, sampling, testing) as needed Ensure compliance with Oregon standards and industry best practices Qualifications: Ability to work collaboratively with junior staff and provide technical leadership Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Oregon (required) Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience Strong knowledge of subsurface investigation, soil mechanics, and foundation design TO APPLY Please send a cover letter, a resume, and an example of your work that addresses your interest and experience in this position to [email protected] and Heather Bakurjian at [email protected].
