Payroll and Billing Specialist

The hours our consultants log feed both their pay and our clients' invoices. Our Payroll and Billing Specialist gets both out correctly and on time. The job is remote from anywhere in the United States. You work online with consultants, who record their hours, and with the engagement leads who agree fees with clients. EXPERIENCE Experience processing payroll or client billing Gusto, ADP, Paychex or a similar payroll provider. Excel for checking and reconciling totals Experience with time-based billing in a consulting, law or accounting firm (bonus) Knowledge of multi-state payroll for remote employees (bonus). Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or similar (bonus) YOUR WORK Run semi-monthly payroll through our payroll provider Process new hires, pay changes and leavers Check time and expense entries before each pay and billing date Prepare client invoices from approved hours and expenses Track payments and contact clients about overdue invoices Reconcile payroll and billing totals with the general ledger what you get Medical, dental and vision coverage for you and your family 401(k) plan, with Phare matching part of your contributions Paid vacation, sick days and U.S. public holidays A yearly budget for courses, certifications and books Your work computer and home desk setup, provided by Phare Phare Consulting Group is a consulting firm in Miami.
