Role Description This part-time remote Physical Therapist role focuses on providing high-quality therapeutic services to patients in a home-based or virtual care environment. The Physical Therapist will assess patient conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence. Daily responsibilities include conducting virtual or remote evaluations, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, updating care plans, and documenting all services in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals and educating patients and caregivers on safe, effective home exercise programs and strategies to prevent injury.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine and Physical Therapy, with the ability to apply clinical knowledge to remote and home-based settings. Experience in Rehabilitation, including designing and adjusting therapy plans to support recovery and functional improvement. Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, with a compassionate, person-centered approach and clear communication in virtual environments. Understanding of Home Care practices, including safety considerations and patient education for in-home exercise and mobility. Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist and eligibility to practice in relevant jurisdictions. Experience with telehealth platforms, electronic documentation, and basic digital tools used in remote care. Strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work independently in a part-time remote capacity. Previous experience in outpatient, home health, or community-based PT settings is preferred.
