Podcast Editor (Description + Opus Clip) ongoing, two-host Wellness Podcast.
Podcast Editor (Descript + Opus Clip) — Ongoing, Two-Host Wellness Podcast I co-host The Holistic Homo Podcast, a conversational show about health, fitness, and living well after 50. I'm looking for a reliable editor who works natively in Descript to take our episodes from raw recording to ready-to-publish. About the show Two hosts, conversational style, occasional guests Episodes run about 30-60 minutes New episode every two weeks Recorded in Zoom, edited in Descript, clips from Opus Clip, published via Buzzsprout Per-episode tasks Edit in our shared Descript project: remove filler words, false starts, and long pauses while keeping the conversation natural (please don't over-cut) Clean up audio with Studio Sound and balance levels between hosts Add our standard intro/outro music Export the final audio [and video] file Run the finished episode through Opus Clip, review the suggested clips, and fix any awkward cuts or caption errors (aim for 3–5clips) upload to Buzzsprout as a draft for my review
Requirements
Strong, hands-on Descript experience (scenes, Studio Sound, editor-seat collaboration) Familiarity with Opus Clip, or willingness to learn quickly Reliable turnaround: 48–72 hours per episode Clear communication and respect for deadlines To apply, please answer: How long have you edited in Descript? Share 1–2 links to two-host podcast episodes you've edited Your flat rate per episode for the tasks above Your typical turnaround time Next step: We'll start with one paid trial episode. If it's a good fit, this becomes ongoing work. Please start your application with the word "Wellness" so I know you read the whole post.
