PODCAST HOST — LOCKED ON PREDATORS Locked On Podcasts is looking for the next host of Locked On Predators, our daily show covering the Nashville Predators and the NHL. We’re looking for someone who knows the Predators, understands the NHL, has strong opinions, and can consistently deliver smart, engaging daily content for Nashville hockey fans. This is not simply a traditional podcast role. The host will be the daily voice of Locked On Predators across podcast, YouTube, and social media. THE ROLE The Locked On Predators host will produce and host a 30-minute show, five days per week, Monday through Friday, covering everything happening around the Nashville Predators. Topics will include:
- Game reaction and analysis
- Breaking news
- Roster moves and injuries
- Trades and free agency
- Players and coaches
- Prospects and the NHL Draft
- Central Division and NHL storylines
- Stanley Cup Playoff coverage
- Strong opinions and analysis on the biggest Predators stories
The host should be able to take the most important Predators story of the day and turn it into an informative, entertaining conversation that fans want to make part of their daily routine. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate:
- Has deep knowledge of the Nashville Predators and the NHL
- Can comfortably carry a daily 30-minute show
- Has a strong on-camera and on-microphone personality
- Is comfortable offering opinions and analysis, not simply reporting news
- Understands what Predators fans care about
- Can react quickly to breaking news and major developments
- Is dependable and capable of maintaining a consistent Monday–Friday production schedule
- Is comfortable creating content for YouTube, podcast platforms, and social media
- Can connect authentically with the Nashville Predators fan base
Previous podcasting, radio, broadcasting, YouTube, or digital-media experience is preferred, but we are also interested in talented creators who may not come from a traditional broadcasting background. Knowledge, personality, consistency, and an authentic connection to the Predators matter most.
