Preconstruction Coordinator - Sports Construction - St. Louis (Remote) A nationally active construction firm specializing in sports, athletic, and recreation facilities is seeking a Preconstruction Coordinator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts across projects nationwide. Nationwide project exposure Stable pipeline of sports-focused work Collaborative preconstruction team Competitive compensation and benefits This Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates for complex sports construction projects, collaborating closely with preconstruction, operations, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates for sports construction projects Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis across multiple trades Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids Develop budgets, GMPs, and bid proposals Participate in pre-bid meetings and value engineering discussions Support project handoff from preconstruction to operations Project Types May Include Athletic complexes and stadiums Indoor and outdoor sports facilities Recreation centers and training facilities Specialty sports surfaces and site-intensive projects Qualifications 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction (sports experience strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and cost drivers Proficiency with estimating software and Excel Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication and team collaboration skills Experience: 3 years required
