🚀 NOW HIRING: Principal AI Solutions Architect (Contract) 📍 Remote | 6-Month Contract | EST Hours W2 ONLY! We are seeking an experienced Principal AI Solutions Architect to help accelerate AI transformation across finance and accounting. This is a hands-on architecture and delivery opportunity for someone who can do more than design solutions. We're looking for an architect who can personally build, implement, test, and help deploy complex AI solutions into production while mentoring engineering teams and establishing reusable technical standards. What You'll Be Doing: Lead architecture and technical delivery of complex enterprise AI initiatives. Partner with business and product stakeholders to translate finance and accounting workflows into scalable AI solutions. Build production-ready AI components using Python, LLMs, RAG pipelines, APIs, and agent workflows. Design and implement intelligent automation and enterprise AI integrations. Develop automated testing frameworks, AI evaluation datasets, and quality assurance processes. Establish security controls, audit trails, human approval workflows, and safeguards for sensitive financial data. Support cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production troubleshooting. Improve AI solution performance, reliability, response quality, and operating costs. Mentor engineers through architecture reviews, code reviews, and hands-on collaboration. Create reusable engineering assets, technical documentation, and implementation standards. Required Qualifications: Extensive experience in enterprise software engineering and solution architecture. Recent hands-on experience building and deploying production Generative AI solutions. Strong Python development skills. Proven experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI workflows, and enterprise integrations. Experience with APIs, SQL, enterprise data systems, and automated testing. Experience with AI evaluation, quality measurement, and regression testing. Cloud deployment experience, including CI/CD, monitoring, security, and production support. Strong communication, technical leadership, and mentoring abilities. Preferred Experience: Finance, accounting, ERP, or enterprise workflow automation. Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Agent orchestration frameworks, vector search, hybrid retrieval, structured outputs, and tool calling. Experience working with distributed engineering teams, vendors, and enterprise architecture groups. Contract Details: Location: 100% Remote Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST Hours: 40 hours per week Overtime: No overtime or weekend work Duration: 6-month contract Extension/Conversion: Potential opportunity for extension or permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
